I need help picking out seats for The Nutcracker show at Benaroya Hall in Seattle. I am thinking of seats "Orchestra Floor" and it's close to the stage. It's cheaper so I'm not sure if it's so because it isn't preferable seating if watching a ballet recital.

The best seats are in the front rows of the balcony. You're not too far away but you have a good view of the whole set without being obstructed by other characters. You don't want to sit in the front (Orchestra Front) otherwise you are going to be looking up tutu's all night. On the main floor, the best seats in my opinion begin where your eyes are at the eye level of the dancers - Row "J" and back to row "W". Rows beyond "W" are underneath the balcony and which feels like a cave and the sound board (main floor sound control technician) is a distraction..

be in the middle section and a little in the back...best view in order to get the whole picture..the sides arent that great and close to the front you will strain your neck..i always got the middle :)

--the section im talking about it directors preferred or orchestra preffered..close enough to see but far enough back to get the full perspective :)
