Goldmyer is on a forest road and then a hike from that. It is limited to 20 visitors per day. Based on going there about 5 years ago, it is not worth the effort.

Sadly most of the other hot springs in Western Washington were either destroyed by flooding in the past few years (Kennedy), or a long way from Seattle (Elwah, Olympic).
There is a good guidebook to the hot springs of the northwest, but most of them listed in it are in Eastern Washington and Oregon or else in Idaho and Montana.

There are some good hot springs in BC, but they are all too far for a day trip.

Hot Springs Near Seattle

I am a MAJOR hot springs enthusiast and I live in Seattle. I can tell you Goldmeyer is not worth it...too commercial. Unfortunately, we used to have a place called Scenic Hot Springs up near Stevens Pass, but it was destroyed by the US Forest Service about 7-8 years ago (thanks a lot, guys).
The only places to go around Seattle are either Olympic Hot Springs (natural, dirt tubs...hike in on a paved road for about 1.5 miles...no car access...campground with outhouses...only water available is from the river), or Sol Duc Hot Springs (commercially developed, beautiful, but not a very pristine setting by any means). Both are located on the Olympic Peninsula, near Port Angeles. You can Google either for more info and/or directions.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Believe me, if there were hot springs close enough for a day trip (as Scenic Hot Springs were) I would be there every weekend.

The Gated Sanctuary in Snohomish (about 45 mins from Seattle) has the feeling of a Japanese Hot Springs combined with a luxurious spa. It is clothing-optional and there are coed days and days for women and men.
You can soak outside in two jetted Jacuzzi tubs and there is a 60 degree cold plunge. While soaking outside, you're surrounded by beautiful cedar trees. Inside, there is a eucalyptus steam room. Don't miss out on the wonderful massages! Google The Gated Sanctuary to see their website and for more information.
